Thoughtfully Designed

The heart behind my Multi-Generational Sessions is honoring the legacy your family is building together. These sessions are designed to capture not only who your family is in this season, but the stories and relationships that connect each generation. With a connected and natural approach, we create space for moments to unfold in a way that feels honest, unforced, and deeply meaningful.

These are longer sessions, intentionally designed to allow for both thoughtfully composed portraits and time spent together in a way that reflects what your family already enjoys — whether that’s sharing a meal, celebrating a tradition, or gathering for an activity that holds meaning for you. Our planning process is collaborative and intentional as I take time to learn about your family’s rhythms and dynamics, allowing us to structure our time together with care. During our session, I focus on preserving genuine moments of connection — the quiet gestures, shared laughter, and familiar interactions that define your family. The result is a collection of images rich with story, reflecting the present while becoming a cherished legacy for generations to come.

Here’s My process

After your inquiry, I will answer any questions you might have and we will set a date! 

You will fill out a detailed questionnaire where I can get to know your family and we can create a session that reflects the love and joy you all share with one another.

We will meet and create magic together through movement, connection, and just being together.

I am intuitive by nature and will direct your family naturally so that the images you receive are both beautiful and meaningful.

Within 2-3 weeks a love-soaked gallery will be sent to your inbox for viewing.

You will be able to download high-resolution images to your computer and hard drive. Next, you can use your print credit and select prints and albums that can fill your home with archival and tangible memories.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Before our session, you will complete a detailed questionnaire about your family, this specific gathering, and more. Closer to your session date, we have a phone call to talk about all the details! We will chat about the space we are gathering at and pick an activity (BBQ, Pool Party, Breakfast, Outdoor Games, etc.) to include during our time together. We will also talk about family portrait combinations. This phone call will set us up for a more natural, fun, and personalized photos session.

  • My goal in Multi-Generational Sessions is to capture the abundant life lived out together through authentic and emotive images. In order to do that, the bulk of our time together will be documenting interactions doing something you love as a family. Within this time, I will document individuals and relationships - laughter, play, connection, and more. About 45 minutes of our time together will be set aside for portraits of the whole family and each nuclear family.

  • Yes! The amazing thing about these multi-generational sessions is that each unique family will get its own “mini session” within our portrait time together.

  • The perk of these multi-generational sessions is that the cost can be split between individual families making it very affordable. Your first payment (half) is due upon booking and remainder is due 2 weeks before your session. There is also an option for a 3 part plan upon request.

the Heirloom Album

The Heirloom Album is printed on the best traditional lab photo paper (Fuji DPII) which is known for its beautiful surface, great color depth, durability, and scratch resistance.  You will be able to select from multiple album materials to best fit your style and personalized embossment. 

This album will last for generations of gathering around the living room to flip through and reminisce together.

We will work closely in selecting your favorite images and designing an album you love. This keepsake is the perfect addition to a Multi-Generational Session.

Please note that heirloom albums start at $500 for a 20 page | 8x8 album when purchased outside of my collections.
